The new fund, known as Adara Ventures Energy I, is classified under Article 9 of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation for its commitment to sustainable investment objectives.

The four startups chosen will launch pilot projects in partnership with Redeia's subsidiaries, including Red Eléctrica, Redinter, Reintel, and Hispasat.

The collaboration includes Terna Forward, the Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) vehicle of Terna, the Italian transmission system operator (TSO). As a result, Redeia’s technology platform is strengthening its CVC portfolio, focused on Seed and Series A startups. This portfolio already contains seven well-known emerging companies like HESStec, OktoGrid, and Nearby Computing.

Within the DALIA project, Elewit and Aerolaser System are creating a digital twin of the entire electricity transmission infrastructure managed by Red Eléctrica. The aim is to improve efficiency and safety in infrastructure maintenance and incident prevention.
