More voices every day are calling for changes in the way we move around in our cities to make them more sustainable. For this reason, Elewit, representing the Red Eléctrica Group as a key player in energy transition and telecommunications development has allied itself through RETIT with the urban mobility hub Madrid in Motion to imagine the future of mobility for our country.
The objective of this initiative, which is holding its second edition, is to find innovative and collaborative solutions to tackle the problems raised by mobility in the coming years. Madrid in Motion, which focuses on Madrid but aims to transform all the cities in our country, is an initiative started by the consultancy Barrabés.biz and Madrid City Council which held its first edition last February with the participation of many of the leading Spanish companies.
There are three main principles on which Madrid in Motion is designing the future of mobility: it will be electric, connected and shared. This public and private initiative will serve to improve people’s quality of life through a new model of mobility capable of making a real impact and ensuring a positive effect on the future of cities and their inhabitants.
